How to Choose an Automatic Gate Operator for Sliding and Swing Gates

An automatic gate operator moves a sliding, swing or retractable gate after receiving a command from a remote control, access system or safety device. Correct sizing is essential: choosing only by price or maximum gate weight can cause slow operation, premature wear and unsafe movement. 1. Identify the Gate Movement Type
