Neither method is automatically suitable for every country or project. Buyers should review applicable biometric privacy, consent, retention and cybersecurity requirements with their customer or legal adviser before deployment.
Confirm whether the project uses a standalone terminal, a separate access control panel, or a terminal connected to a pedestrian gate. Document the number of doors and lanes, entry and exit readers, lock type, exit button, door sensor, alarm input, emergency release and power supply. A clear architecture prevents incompatible reader and controller combinations.

The BS-PV08 contactless palm-vein recognition terminal is designed for a palm presentation approximately 7 to 14 centimetres above the scanner. Contactless operation can reduce repeated surface touching, but buyers must still confirm enrollment, controller connection, software, mounting height and user instructions.
Its product specifications list power consumption at no more than 0.85W, an operating temperature of -15°C to +55°C and 20% to 80% non-condensing humidity. Request the complete interface and platform specification before using it in a project bill of materials.
