Contactless palm-vein recognition terminal designed for hygienic, privacy-focused biometric access control and compatible entrance management projects.
Features ● Excellent security and privacy protection: Veins are hidden under the skin, making them difficult to steal. Other biometrics, such as facial features, fingerprints, or palm prints, are exposed. Blood flow is also an important identifying feature of veins. Even if a vein image is forged, it cannot fool a palm print reader because there is no vein image with blood flow in the image. Non-biological veins cannot be used to obtain the image features of vein patterns, and therefore cannot be identified or forged. ● High-precision infrared scanning can capture the feature points of arm veins, with a far greater number of feature points than fingerprints or faces. Therefore, arm vein recognition is more accurate than other biometric technologies. Veins are hidden inside the body. When using palm prints for authentication, the image features of the vein patterns inside the palm are obtained, not the image features of the palm surface. Therefore, conditions such as palm damage, fatigue, dryness, or excessive moisture will not affect recognition. This technology overcomes the shortcomings of fingerprint recognition, such as slow recognition speed and inability to recognize when fingers are dirty or the skin is dented, thus improving recognition efficiency. ● Hygiene and cleanliness, preventing the spread of disease . Vein recognition is contactless; simply place your palm 7-14 centimeters above the scanner to effectively prevent the spread of bacteria or viruses through contact.
BS-PV08 is intended for offices, laboratories, healthcare facilities, factories, data rooms and other controlled entrances where contactless identity verification is required. The terminal must be matched with the selected door controller, electric lock, turnstile or visitor-management workflow before ordering.
